Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students:

Welcome to ICEF INGLEWOOD ELEMENTARY CHARTER ACADEMY! It is my distinct honor and privilege to welcome you to the Inner City Education Foundation family of public charter schools. You have officially begun your journey to academic excellence and college prepraration.

There are several good public and charter elementary institutions in Inglewood, but you have chosen one of the BEST! As we partner together nothing can stop us in our pursuit of excellence. Together as we collaborate, we will function as a professional learning community with the goal of ensuring that “No Child is Left Behind.” Through this effort we will empower one another to be the best and accept “no excuses” for mediocrity.

Parents you make the difference between a good school and a GREAT school. We realize and understand that you are your child’s first teacher and it is our job to build upon that foundation. We must and will join together to make sure all of our students are prepared to attend and compete at the top 100 colleges in the nation. Parents get involved in your child’s education and school activities. Your attendance at Back to School Night, Parent – Teacher Conferences and our monthly Parent Information Meetings (PIM) will keep you abreast of school-wide activities as well as grade level happenings.
